The housing situation of older tenants in urban areas (2018-2019)

An ageing population and a majority of older adults ageing in place, encourages policy makers to reflect on the housing situation of elderly. Research has shown that older people live in unadapted dwellings, as well as unadapted housing environments, such as areas where basic services are lacking.

In this part of the research, we have a look at the housing situation (in the broad sense) of older adults living in urban areas. In a second phase, we interview older adults in suburban areas.
