The housing situation of older urban tenants and older suburban and rural home owners (2019-2020)

An ageing population and a majority of older adults ageing in place, encourages policy makers to reflect on the housing situation of elderly. Research has shown that older people live in unadapted dwellings, as well as unadapted housing environments, such as areas where basic services are lacking.

In this part of the research, we have a look at the housing situation (in the broad sense) of older adults living in suburban areas. Previously, we have studied older adults in urban areas.
